cat6 Ethernet cable application or installation Q&A (1)

our Customer Question:
there's a cat6 -1M cable i used to connect directly to my computer, and the internet speed was gigabit.
when I moved to a new room, the cable was replaced with a cat6- 5M( another XX brand) cable, I found that there is no way to access the Internet, so I changed it back to use the previous 1M cable ,then i can access the Internet, but the speed of the Internet has become really not stable, sometimes gigabit sometimes 10 megabytes, what is the reason for this? how could i solve it?

If you can't keep the internet speed stable when you use the same cat6 cable, it's better to recut the crystal head and re-compress it, sometimes the oxidization of the crystal head can cause this situation.
As for what you said that you can't access the internet after you use the cat6-5meter cable (new one), you can use the cable finder to test whether the cable is 8-core all through, if it is, it's not a problem with your cable, the problem may be in the computer.
